The Senator Update
December 24/09: Best of the season to everyone! The fourth season of PolkaRama is still not out of the editing stage. There were some personnel changes at Access Television which caused a delay. We hope to have the shows available early in 2010. The good news is that Season Three of PolkaRama...PolkaFest...is now available by clicking here. The annual Casino Regina PolkaFest is slated for May 14 and 15, featuring Walter and the Senators along with special guest Eddie Klancnik and his band. They have a super new album out, which will be on sale at the event. Get your tickets early...this is one you won't want to miss. The Senators' 33 and a third Anniversary album is now available through this site. There are 18 tunes on the album, taken from our recordings, dating back to 1976 when the band was born. If you have never bought a Western Senators album, this is the perfect sampler. You can find the Anniversary Collection here.
October 14/08: "Freshly Squeezed" is now available through this site. It is the first Only Senators album in 13 years...all originals, written by Brian, Mark and Aaron. It features three fiddle tunes in addition to our usual accordion and vocal numbers. The US release for the album happened at our appearance at Norsk Hostfest in Minot. Over 65,000 people attended this year's show and as usual, the Senators had a great time. Special thanks to all the people who bought CDs and DVDs and to those who picked up information on ordering through the Web. Click here to order this great album.
